- Tatami surface -

Using tatami surface grown and woven by Yasuto Hatano of Gozagura Jippei, Uki, Kumamoto.

This tatami surface is finely woven by using one of the variety of igusa grass called "Hinomidori", which is the thinnest growing variety.

1. Kyo-Yamato Series ( Ishidashokufu Co., Ltd. )

Made with 100% pure cotton thread.

This is a high-quality pure cotton tatami border.

You can enjoy the natural fading that occurs over time, and you can feel the deep feel of natural materials along with the tatami surface, .

This is recommended for those who want to enjoy the changes that occur over time.

2. Zen Series ( Takadaorimono Co., Ltd.)

A blend of cotton and polyethylene thread.

Compared to pure cotton, this tatami border is more water-resistant and less prone to fading.

This is recommended for those who want to feel free to enjoy while maintaining the stately of natural materials.

-Waterproof canvas-

Using Fuji Kinbai made by Kawashima Shoji Co., Ltd., waterproof canvas No. 9, on the back side.

This 100% cotton canvas is paraffin-waterproof, highly water-resistant and durable.

We have selected this so that you can easily take them outside and use them.

*Although it is waterproof, please refrain from using it in places with a lot of water.

 

-Cushioning and durability-

The base is made of 10mm thick cushioning material and GFPP (glass fiber reinforced polypropylene).
